I’ve been noticing this more and more in the modlogs, with it proven via the “creator” option in some instances’ modlogs that the people doing the bans were mods and not admins, and when I first joined Lemmy, one of the things that were held as a universal truth was that this absolutely could not happen.

I've used the scheduler, with great success, many times.

Last night however I scheduled 3 posts around 8:50PM EST using the account "JarvisBot" to "marvelstudios@lemmy.world".

Unfortunately each post was posted ~3 times each, causing some spam. The also never disappeared from schedule.lemmings.world/post/list so it seems like they were recorded as failures? I deleted them manually just in case.

A bunny ice cream man is on a boardwalk near a beach, selling popsicles and other snacks from a little ice cream cart. Another bunny, who takes a creamsicle from him, is literally melting into a puddle from the summer heat!

I can't seem to wrap my head around how to calculate this, nor the reasoning behind it.

Say you have 3 10-sided dice. 2 dice have 8 "winning" faces and 2 "losing" faces. So an 80% chance of winning. The third dice has 5 "winning" and 5 "losing" sides, so a 50% chance of winning.

If you roll all three of these dice at the same time:

-What is the probability of at least 1 dice winning.

-What is the probability of at least 2 dice winning.

-What is the probability of all 3 winning.

From what I've seen I can calculate the probability of all 3 winning by doing:

0.8 x 0.8 x 0.5=0.32

A 32% chance of all 3 winning at the same time.

But what about the others, I can't seem to figure it out.
