Keeping Track of the 2nd Trump administration!

One thing Donald Trump and the extreme right were very good at doing is burying the track record of his first presidency from 2017 to 2021.

Keep Track is dedicated to literally keeping track, day by day, of the policy decisions made by the new Trump Administration.

That is not to say we're interested in the crazy things he says or tweets, he clocked over 30,000 lies the last time he was in office, I don't see how it's possible to track all of that. This is about POLICY. Nominees, executive orders, signed laws, and so on.

Subject line format should be {{date}} {{event}} so: "01-20-2025 - Trump is sworn in."

The international date format of 2025-01-20 is also acceptable!

Links should be to verifiable news sources, not social media or blog sites. So no Xitter/Truth/Youtube/Substack/etc. etc.

"Shut up about egg prices."

In addition to, you know, all the legal immigrants, US citizens, Native Americans... etc...

Original headline meant nothing, replaced. Was "Statement from the Press Secretary"

Trump has a weird hard on for Jackson, best guess is because of this story:

https://teva.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p15138coll33/id/73/

(in fairness, the story is kind of badass):

"On January 30, 1835, Richard Lawrence, an unemployed house painter, produced two pistols and fired upon Andrew Jackson on the steps of the United States Capitol. Both pistols misfired and an outraged Jackson beat Lawrence with his walking cane. Lawrence was tried for attempted murder and found not guilty by reason of insanity. He was committed to a number of institutions until his death in 1861."

I've been noticing that this community has not quite been keeping track.

Since there is an RSS feed directly from the whitehouse.gov(https://www.whitehouse.gov/news/feed), what if we made a bot to add all new EOs? Maybe also the articles?

Tempted to editorialize the headline with a simple "(?)".

Feel free to insert it where you'd like. ;)

I missed a bunch of stuff due to getting the flu, then a virus, then the flu AGAIN. (I blame Costco).

Basically, I crawled into a NyQuil bottle for a month.

So back on track starting today!

I know, I know, I missed a bunch of stuff, but I don't want to slam the "All" feed with a bunch of catch up posts.

I'm sure there will be more than enough going forward!

Very chilling watch. I thought I was following this close enough, but Elon & Felon got more accomplished than I suspected.

Even if somehow there is impeachment, Luigi unaliving and all that, it seems that a lot of the damage is irreversible, in addition to the subsurface damage which will be very hard to uncover since they are removing any mechanism to track, document or prosecute those actions.

The USA needs a serious wake up call.

Claims made:

  • Biden Administration made mice transgender
  • CNN are "Fake News losers" for trying to fact check President Trump

This is an attack on transgender people, freedom of the press, and scientific research.

It's never been a better time to be a white collar criminal. Combine this with potentially tax free tips and it is the kind of deck that would get banned in Magic the Gathering.

But not enforcing is not the same thing as legal.
