Ive been cobsidering it for a while as well, I have my own domains and a server. Will probs do it when I get paid and can afford a few HDDs

Get SSDs. Lemmy is heavy as fuck. I wish Piefed had existed when I set up my instance.

Both, nearly always advantageous to use SSDs as a cache pool with the heavy storage on HDDs.
