A community based around all things related to The Sims.
This includes:

My parents used to buy these frozen breakfast sandwiches. The package instructions say to microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. One morning, I suppose my mom woke up extra tired because at some point, the smoke alarms were going off and the whole house STUNK. I heard the microwave going, looked over, and there are 11 minutes left on it.
She must have accidentally hit an extra zero and set it for 23 minutes.
I did the same thing with carrots I was heating up for my dog.. the extreme heat broke the bowl in half once the water had all evaporated. It took 3 days to get the smokey-caramelized carrot odour out of the microwave with vinegar. Now I always stay in the kitchen when cooking things in the microwave ๐
