I love my little brother!

I hope to set him up with some good life lessons, some things I wish I'd learned earlier. I hope I make him do things I wish I'd done earlier.

It's a funny feeling, being an older brother. On one hand, it sucks to see your little brother be better than you, on the other hand, it feels like it is your duty to make sure it happens. I wish only to be the harbinger of my own misery.

In a sense, that's all anyone could ask for. To cause one's misery, to hold the reins, to control one's destiny; that is life. Misery is inevitable, so it is righteous to command it, to wield it!

I hope my little brother can sail just a bit smoother than I did.

I wish I had an older brother like you.

I'm the youngest of three siblings, the eldest of which is 6 years older than me.

I heard from others that I don't fit the youngest child stereotype — something about me being more mature and responsible than they expected.

Well, if you have an irresponsible eldest brother who's lazy AF, disgusting, freeloader, financially irresponsible, and seemingly has no ambition, anyone would be forced to mature early regardless of the order of birth.

I wished I had a sibling that I can look up to and ask for advice. I wished I didn't have to navigate through stuff alone, because someone I trust knows what to do.

I can't really ask for a grown-up input from my other sibling, since we're only a year apart. Sigh.

Ah, that sucks ://

I'm not perfect; I'm sure there are many things my little brother dislikes about what I do and how I am, and I'm sure there's many things he wishes I could be that I'm not and that I could do that I don't.

OFC I don't know your big brother, but I do think it's important to understand that, as an older brother, it's tough to learn how to be a good influence while figuring out your own life at the same time.

I hope you've managed a good life regardless of help from the eldest!
