It says "value of java.lang.String cannot be convert..." and then it cuts off.

It mainly happens with pictures I took with my camera, or I already had on my phone. Case in point, I can upload the frog but not my cats.

Well at least we got the frog, so I'd say this is a win. Cats in addition would be a nice bonus though.

Lemm.ee prevents any uploads over 100KB, so for anything like a photo or a screenshot you'll need to first upload to a 3rd party image site.

It's likely your instance getting overwhelmed. Happened to me yesterday. Worked on my alt account on a separate instance. Just had to wait a bit and the issue resolved itself.
