How do you go about discovering new communities? I've been scrolling All but the amount of communities that shows up is very limited (at least considering I blocked all the foreign language and political ones)
I'm not specifically talking about ads. Things like stopping your playlist every 15 minutes and telling you that maybe you should pay for YouTube music or "free" software that is practically impossible to use until you pay for a subscription are examples of what I'm talking about
I usually wait 5 to 15 minutes before responding to the "hi". Most of the time people send their question on minute 3 and then I respond instantly
What would protect you against blunt force?
I ran out of popcorn so I decided to ask, why are you guys so intently arguing with OP? He's either a moron or a troll
I feel like we need a bot to field these kind of questions completely out or context
I rather like being able to long rest practically at any time rather than at forced moments. But I've grown away from looking for a challenge in videogames these days I just want to chill
I don't know my experience using Lemmy with boost has been pretty seamless so far (apart of a small snafu of trying to log in to the wrong server)
Plus you just know once it finally goes IPO reddit will go down the drain significantly faster than it has as of late
they just aren't as quick or convenient
Yeah because that's not at all important in communicating with the general population
If I'm not mistaken it's part of the original spec, Dylan beattle had a bit in a talk about email at some point
Edit: I was in fact mistaken it's a Google only thing and not part of the spec
A lot of sites show up in Google results and then force you to log in to actually see the content. I think most of them just get away with hiding the content a second after loading it in, that way the crawler bot still is able to see all the page but the user isn't
Shit happens, always. We just don't pay much attention until it starts involving us
