I have a pretty nice movie theater setup. I was streaming Spotify to it (at max bitrate) and always felt like something was off. I hooked up my turntable and was blown away by the difference, flac files did the same. Compression sucks lol.

Health concerns are legit, but have they seen the prices? A 6 pack of Bud Light is regularly 9 bucks. FOR BUD LIGHT. Forget about premium brands, those are 12 and up. Hell, small batch locals are up to 15+. Liquor hasn't shot up quite as much, but it has climbed.
Don't even get me started on how much bars/restaurants charge.
Some rental places will let you bypass the counter and go straight to your vehicle. I would check in early everytime if bypassing was an option. I once waited over 2 hours at a counter due to the line. I had booked prior, but couldn't bypass the line regardless.
I wish I was as cool as this cat.
The 2 highest profiles, and closest to being involved were the downtown Dallas PD shooting. We were a block away. The other was my wife was at the State Fair shooting in the building next to it. The rest would probably end up doxing myself due to location and employment, but 2 incidents at schools, 1 mall, and a couple more at restaurants.
We have really bad luck with wrong place wrong time.
Icing on the shit cake is while I didnt directly know them, a good friend knew Eva Morales from Uvalde.
I once saw a guy bust out a 32 inch monitor and hook it into his 17" Alienware laptop...at McDonalds. Can't remember what he was playing, but it was an online game like CoD/Fortnite. Still have no clue why they chose McDs.

I don't blame you. I have to use 2 hands to count how many times either myself, or my wife have been dangerously close, or within a mile of a high profile shooting. I don't even live in Austin, and I have been to that Target numerous times. People think I'm lying when I start listing them off . It's also why I began carrying.
I'd assume that after years and years of absorbing rising prices, they just are finally at a point where they have to to stay afloat. I'm sure just the aluminum tariffs are a huge reason.
It has to be a Friday too.
Self care - just taking a shower/bath can reset me. Get a hair cut, mani/pedi etc.
Get something done - this is a hard one, but forcing myself to get a task done can get the ball rolling. Something as dumb as pulling weeds in my yard can clear my head, plus some sun really can make a difference if you tend to stay indoors.
Hang out with someone - also hard when depression kicks in, but they can help distract you from your thoughts.
