"Butters! Are you looking at 3D gravitational hyperbolic topography?"

"No Dad! Just looking at porn!"

Advertisers abused the hell out of us back in the early days of the Internet and we haven't forgotten. Multiple Pop-ups, pop-unders and seizure-inducing banner ads.

If they simply stuck with small, basic, non-flashing banners, I could have handled it. But greed knows no limits with advertisers.

The point of an RPG, especially one that involves shooting is you let the player pick their own moral take on how to play the game. You don't choose FOR them.

Put real consequences in the game if the players choices actually matter. Don't nerf the game mechanics for no reason.

I'm guessing that once these bots have farmed enough karma, their owners will sell them to other people who will use them for advertising or propaganda.

  • surprised Pikachu face * "Why didn't that work?"

Move demonstrates Musk’s growing influence in Washington

It demonstrates the growing influence of EVERY billionaire in Washington DC ever since the courts accepted the "corporations are people / money is speech" arguments.

When that happened, the government stopped representing the needs of ordinary people and only represented the needs of billionaires and their lobbyists. It's taking a long time to play out, but it's going to end badly.

A strong, cogent argument can be made for having a wide variety of game developers. I don't see ANYONE saying, "we need more companies like EA, Activision or UbiSoft."

Tesla won a bellwether trial in Los Angeles in April with a strategy of saying that it tells drivers that its technology requires human monitoring, despite the "Autopilot" name

Then it should not be called "Autopilot." The AI required to make real autopilot work does NOT exist now and probably won't exist for decades.

Tesla autopilot is a marketing gimmick that is going to cost a lot of lives because the people who shill for Musk have a child-like worship of billionaires.
