When I learnt how to read English I started to get access to new currents of thought that are not common on Spanish (is that a latinsphere or Spanishsphere I wonder), at the same time I learnt how loud are US people on internet really.

Can you suggest some game that hit that sweetspot?

Hey everyone!

I really passionate about games but I struggle a lot to finish the storyline for a lot of them. There are some games I would love to finish like Eastward or Sea of Stars, but I feel unable to reasume them. I feel like if the game is not a dopamine trap(League or Civ VI) I can't continue playing it.

Does anyone here has face this issue and have found a way to work on it?

I'm out of spells, but not of options!

I have some friends like that, and we play commander so pay to win is always a thing. My GF and I have a precon each and we talked with those friend and now all of us have a precon te be in an closer level than “rat infinite combo vs hobbits precon.”

With some time we have improved our main decks to be more capable of standing. But we are not close yet xd.

You did the right thing talking to them and saying that if they don't chill out it will be not funny for half the table.

Damn, I don't know where to start this response.

-First, I didn't know that "the real devil" was so good giving advice. Where I live we have a saying that translates like "More knows the devil by old than by being the devil", so your experiences and conclusions are appreciated.

-I haven't been medicated yet, so I will have your advice in mind regarding to that. Also I don't really know if Adderall is a thing where I live.

-Categorizing things by mood needed is something that I haven't heard of, but is so clear now. All my life I have ridded waves of motivation, but I have never planned to do it in advance.

-I'm already on therapy so that's like my "sprint review" to check if an habit is sticking, for me agile has been a good framework to try habits and new approaches.

-As a last point, I'm a developer but as you, I guess that I'm an artist, a writer and whatever I'm feeling like in the moment.

I really appreciate you took time to write this comment, thanks!

EDIT: formatting.

Thanks for your time writing here! I noticed that sometimes that helps. I will start doing it now.

Hi, as the title says I'm a new developer and some days ago I was diagnosed. My diagnose journey started because I'm unable to be consistent (That's not something new) and it is making me really depressed.

I just spend all day doing nothing and some day I just write most of what I have should written. Some days I force myself to code just to see all letters as blurry meaningless symbols and then I come back to square one where I procrastinate. Now I'm working from home, but when I go to office this gets 10 times worse.

I will be making an appointment to get medications soon, but does anyone have some additional ways to fight this?

EDIT: Thanks everyone that responded the call for help! To people that resonate with this post, please read these comments, all of them are really useful.

Update: All this post started because of a deadline i was having serious problems to reach.

If you are in the same spot as a new dev: What happened to me was that I was facing a really complex issue in which we lacked a lot of information and when I started to ask some key questions everything started to flow again, my main blocker was communication.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I should have focused on understanding rather than trying to solve.

Never trust people that say that they know what they're doing!

Hey, Im not a user from this instance, but I feel worried about you OP.

Perhaps take a break, even if you could not erase your memory's as some people have said please take care of yourself. If it is not restrictive please go to therapy or in case that it is too expensive there is always a free service in a lot of countries.

Yeah options are almost everything! Thats THE reason why I like warlocks. With little to no multiclass you can play a lot of playstyles.

This post is more about what power level do you like in your games for martials and what do you do to make the feel the way taht feels good according to that.

In my case my biggest problem is how unidimensional they are, so advanced 5e has done the thing for me. I think that if we play at level 20 i would do some hombrew to push them even further but i like how many options they have.

I of the opinion that low level martials are cool but lacking in options and level 9+ martial characters are underpowered AF. That has to do tht as I subjectively understand dnd everything is made by magic, so the limit of physical feats should be as magic, like lifting tons or demolishing buildings with blows.

So, do you like martials in 5e or would you rather them to fulfill a different fantasy?

Also "porque" has a tilde where it should not. In the context of the poster it means "because", not to be confused with "why" that is spelled "por qué".

Mine was a battle against a rival gang (we are working with them for backstory reasons), they had a manticore and we are level 3 so it was intense. Most of us finished with 2 or so hp! But looking forward to finally be level 4 after a year.
