Please explain what it is about my post you think is trolling.

I guess Gen Z didn’t pay as much attention to space because the shuttle program ended before their time?

I love that one of the enduring aspects of human nature is that each generation wants broad strokes paint the ones that follows them as lazy, incurious dolts who will lead to the downfall of civilization. Gen Z is getting the brunt of it now, but it wasn't too long ago that op eds were written blaming Millennials for "killing" everything from golf, to wine, to napkins, to basic courtesy. We can go all the way back to Plato, disparaging the youths of ancient Greece for sagging their togas, and spending all their time looking at tablature as opposed to having real conversations. And, of course, my generation also got its fair share before we all turned into the cranky old men shaking our fists at clouds in between writing those op eds.

Calling people assholes and gatekeeping is clown behaviour. Take a week off.

All I’m saying is if someone‘a going to “correct’ my joke, they need to be additive, as opposed to just a worse version of the bit.

And calling me an asshole is hardly banter. If buddy was bantering, he would have clapped back as opposed to whining about what a big meanie I am.

Yeah…Greatest Trek and The Greatest Generation have been going since 2016, and they have a ridiculous amount of inside jokes. I don’t think the interview is actually all that difficult to parse, but I also have been listening since like the third episode so I might not be the best judge.

Fuckin' jeepers, this is grasping at straws.

There's no "lore" regarding the spore drive or the uniforms, so nothing to disregard.

What specific lore about the Klingons was abandoned by Disco. Just one specific thing. Any single, specific thing.

Lorca's not the only one who uses it in Disco, though. It actually happens relatively frequently in the first two season. Obviously for seasons three and four things have changed and it's no longer an issue.

Hell, in SNW while Kirk is on the Enterprise in "Subspace Rhapsody" he prepares some samples collected outside the ship to be beamed to engineering and thinks nothing of that instance of intra-ship beaming. I guess he forgot that whole event where people broke out into song by the time he was mid-way through his own five year mission.

That would be great, but unfortunately they’re not going to produce new Trek for direct to physical media.

Edit: Your bitchy cunt response really proves my point.

Getting this heated over a discussion about how a streaming service is inconvenient is pretty over the top. I’m annoyed with Trek being removed from Crave as well, and I’m also annoyed with Paramount for a whole host of reasons right now, so I empathize, but no need to react like this.

Going to need you to edit your comment.

This would be perfectly appropriate to post in Quark’s but is a bit too off topic for this board. Thanks!
