October 15 Prompt - Red Alert

For this prompt, I had to pay tribute to the best to ever do it; when Riker says, "Red alert!" you know shit is about to pop off. I've never actually played a Phoenix Wright game, but I do like the objection meme.

I am probably not going to be adding series names or episode numbers to the citations. I could potentially start doing the recommended viewing again.

“Frame of Mind” was directed by James Conway.

Great episode, though.

Seems like something you’d want to discuss with your doctor.

I think in this case it’s likely a WizKids thing, but yeah, licensed games can frequently be prettier slapdash.

I really enjoyed Resurgence starting out, and without giving too much away, I liked the general thrust of the story, but man there are certain points along the way where you really see the Telltale cracks in the Trek facade.

"Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" - release date: 26 November 1986
"Encounter at Farpoint" - original air date: 28 September 1987
"The Bonding" - the first episode of TNG Ronald D. Moore wrote, and sold as a spec script before getting hired as part of the writing staff, original air date: 23 October 1989

There is plenty of references to money in TOS, and not merely as a figure of speech.

he was trying to make them as realistic as possible for a genuinely noble reason.

He wanted a leg up to advance his career....

My assumption at this point is that the stardates in SNW are a targeted attack on me specifically. The one way to resolve it is for me to challenge Akiva Goldsman to ritual combat with the lirpa, but he won’t reply to my emails.

He does that in service of his bizarre insistence that Disco is not part of the prime timeline.
