Just because you can afford something doesn't mean you should buy it or that it is a good deal.
Just use containers. Any Debian package would be years out of date and doing updates wouldn't be a challenge to say the least. Meanwhile with containers I can easily update the version.
Do you just call and ask?
They should leave the status where they are. If you replace it you are just encouraging more vandalism. If you want to honor other less recognized historical figures you should build new statues.
I don't like the school of thought of some of these people. They advocate burying out history instead of addressing the past. Just because your past is dark doesn't mean it should be forgotten. If it is dark you should address it more as it needs to be talked about.
As far a statue go you could add an additional plaque explaining the history and then build a newer status nearby that honors a hero who was on the side of the victims. Statues are a part of the history and they deserve to be left alone. Destroying art because it doesn't align with the current politics creates long term regret.
They really should find and arrest the perpetrator. This is a serious offense and should not be tolerated.
You can collaborate across instances. Think a video call where you can all edit one file.
Also it now supports activity pub so you can interact with Lemmy and Mastodon

It still won't really matter. The domain name is arbitrary in this case
Um, dnf doesn't do anything with configuration files. It is used for packages.
I would start by trying to create that file. If that doesn't fix it after restarting the service look into the docs. You may need to configure network manager.
That only works if the decryption is happening on hardware you control. You can not trust any part of the VPS including the memory and CPU
You don't really. Treat it as totally untrusted
Ahhhh!
How so? There are lots of valid complains about gnome but stability is not one of them. They are very careful about the stuff they ship by default.
