Scoop some out with a metal spoon. The liquid in the spoon should cool quickly so you can still drink it without wasting any. Repeat until the level is low enough to carry.

I've honestly never quite realized up until now how utterly ridiculous it is that people (especially in the US) regularly demand that their food be chauffeured to them. in c/fuckcars@lemmy.world

Having one person deliver multiple meals to different people in a single trip sounds more sustainable than each individual person making the round trip...
