How accurate is the meshmap? (sh.itjust.works)

I'm still fighting with Amazon to get my first pair of devices delivered, I went with heltec v3s to get started.

But looking at the meshmap.net, it's very very sparse around me. How likely is it that the are nodes that aren't on the map?

Hopefully I can check it out myself soon!

It's definitely possible, and if you can even get connected to just one node, then you will end up extending the mesh by a decent amount. Since the nodes you will probably receive from the edge will be decently weak signal.
