Well, definitely don’t roll over them. How is your wrapping technique though? Guitar cables are the most susceptible to bend damage of any cable I’ve used. If you don’t wrap them up correctly you spin the wires inside and the connections break.
So, my advice, wrap cables properly, you can find help on YouTube I’m sure, and buy cables with removable ends so if they do break you can just cut and solder a shorter cable without the broken section, instead of throwing away the whole cable.
