I have an iPhone 12 mini and would definitely love a way to decrease the font size. It’s a bit too big on my tiny screen. Not being able to change the font size has been really my only complaint so far.
in-app font size is on our radar. Thanks for the feedback on the mini, we will try to see if it needs extra attention.
In the meantime the per-app accessibility settings should work well (I use them daily)

Have you tried:
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness, then select Text Size.
2 Drag the slider to select the font size you want.
We plan to eventually hit this as it’s a common request. It in the mean time text scaling is supported. You can use the control center dynamic text widget to set a custom size just for mlem. Just hit the switch at the bottom.
Can you share a link or image?
Edit: I found it. I had no idea we had this option on iOS!
Sorry I was on a airplane at the time. Glad you found it.
That affects all apps. I’d like to change it in just this one.
Settings -> Accessibility -> Per-App Settings
I use this for apps that don't have settings to change the text size or a dark mode.
Ah perfect thank you
