Apple weather is honestly better than BOM has been the past 12 months, its insane.
I just carry an umbrella with me if I'm going to be walking outdoors for more than 5 minutes.
I always carried an umbrella with me in Melbourne. Even in summer. Often two, because on top of the compact little thing I always carried, I also had a "real" umbrella on known rainy days.
