Chrome became popular for 2 reasons:

  1. Nerds recommended it after installing windows.
  2. It's the default browser for Android.

Number 1 isn't always true anymore but has momentum while 2 is fixed. Until something changes, Chrome is cemented into web browsing.

From my experience the whole reason Blizzard has gotten bad is because they wanted to be an attractive sale.

Businesses often get really terrible before a sale or IPO.

The review process is bullshit. If you're perfectly happy in your job and you're doing amazing, they fire you for not getting promoted.
