I searched and the only update I can find is that Apple managed to get the gross negligence and fraud by non-disclosure complaints dismissed along with the request for punitive damages. All locked behind a paywall though. Case is Gordoa v. Apple Inc et al, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, No. 3:22-cv-02900 for anyone that has paid access to legal databases.

I know Toyota is still ragging on EVs because they invested a lot into hydrogen tech and want that to be the next big thing instead. But I didn't know Honda, Mazda and Suzuki also under-invested.

Being a landlord is supposed to be a job though. They're supposed to maintain the property and handle property related disputes between the tenant and the community. The problem is landlords aren't held to their obligations and are allowed to treat it as a passive investment. Liability for landlords and their property managers needs to be increased. Require a licence for landlording that can be revoked.

Shanks was unable to defend himself in the former case because Balilaro invoked parliamentary privilege on evidence Shanks wanted to use.

Because union lawyers are on the side of the employee and thier job is to make sure the dismissal was for cause and procedure was followed. It's the same mentality that leads to people saying defense attorneys enable criminals. Like no, they're there to ensure your rights and check the power of the state.

Running out of old stockpiles to send. Western militaries have plenty to spare, but it'd be the ammo they actually use.

RIKSY
UNKOWN
DIVISIVE
PERMANENT

You can tell you should be worried because they use scary words and CAPITAL LETTERS. I also love how they put "it opens the door to activists" like it's a bad thing. Personally I wouldn't mind if Australia Day were replaced with a Treaty Day if that came to pass. It's just an excuse to get absolutely pissed around a barbie anyway.

Yes that will be expensive.

As with the dog's breakfast of the US health system, it won't actually be that expensive if we cut out the middleman and provide public healthcare. A lot of things provide a positive return on investment for society but too many people are still too blinded by bootstrap bullshit and post-war boomer mentality.

How the fuck are people expected to have kids when they need to work work work just to live. So many people can barely support themselves, much less be expected to support two other individuals. And it is two because all these articles keep harping on about the "replacement rate". No one in power seems to want to do anything to actually help aside from funneling more taxes into corporate leeches with increasing subsidies.

Twitter, also known as X Corp, no longer has a media relations office.
Reuters could not immediately reach Twitter's Australia office for comment.

Are they no longer even replying with the poop emoji? Damn those staff cuts must be drastic.
