One issue I’ve noticed: seems like there is a very short tap delay, most noticeable on the tap bar.

Yeah, I’m sure a significant percentage are signing up but not staying active. That said, my feed is filled with content from people I follow. They did a great job engaging “influencers” (I hate that term) before the public launch.

I know Threads gets a lot of criticism here but the launch and growth rate are incredible nonetheless.

It was good but it didn’t really add enough or solve an actual problem. At the time, there wasn’t as much negative sentiment around Facebook. The circles were a neat concept but too much work to use for the average user.

Mlem is also quite good. I’d say there isn’t a clear favorite yet. All have subtle pros and cons.
