Helen O'Connell. The first person to truly get an accurate representation of the full organ (in humans), two thousand and fucking five. She started her research in the 90's. Last week I learned about endometriosis, ane how doctors, despite seeing it on USG, pretend like it doesn't exist, because "it's normal for woman to feel pain". I hate humanity

I learnt about that too and apparently, it is treated as a problem in China, where there are quite a few cases.
