I don't recommend it, even for free. Lots of grinding with heavy P2W elements. There are much better options for free MMOs, like Guild Wars 2 or Final Fantasy XIV.

Mhm wait a moment, Final Fantasy 14 is not free, its subscription based.

Technically correct, but what they call a "free trial" is effectively a sizable free tier of the game. The entire base game as well as the first two expansion can be played for free with no time restrictions.

If you don’t mind all the restrictions on communication and the like. Then again it’s basically a single player game masquerading as an MMO anyway so
