So, they're going to "double down" on the kidnappings, destroying democracy, and white nationalism...for Charlie?
Charlie, the "Christian" and "Martyr" who advocated against feeding the poor, healing the sick and welcoming the immigrant? That Charlie?
Yes, I think it's completely on brand for them to do exactly that. Anyone who can read quotes of Jesus from the Bible and twist them into this kind of agenda has long since abandoned evidence, objectivity, empiricism and rationalism.
They're just shouting nonsense in Elizabethan English at this point because it sounds Bibley to them. I'm not joking. I have heard people say things that way that are definitely not in the Bible. Not that the Bible should be dictating law.
I'm just pointing out that they're not applying a coherent, good-faith doctrine. They're just doing what they want and trying to stretch the flag and the Bible to cover their wrongdoing.
They are fully anti-Christian, and so are the people who follow them. Again, this isn't about Christianity or even religion. I'm pointing out that we have passed the point of hypernormalization, and people are violating their own dogmas to deal with the cognitive dissonance.
Ezekiel 16:49 This was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease but did not aid the poor and needy.
Ooooo. Old Testament burn. Those are especially good for when hypocrites go after marginalized demographics that are more explicitly protected in the New Testament.
