Is it a joke though? Whole swaths of the internet legitimately have no ability to separate fiction from reality... really seems like this guy (and at least one other reply to him) is upset at Neil Newborn for things Astarion did.

If it's a joke, Poe's Law is in full effect, because I've met so many people who are actually like this.

Hmm. I can see why the /s was so popular to use on Reddit. I’m a pretty sarcastic person, so reading the original comment sounded like to me a very sarcastic answer. There are mentally ill people who can not differentiate between reality and fiction, but I would never just assume someone has that issue from a single comment I guess.

Think King Geoffrey from Game of Thrones for example. There are people hating the actors guts because of his role in a series.
