Christian's first reaction to Voyager

Design wise yes it is a one to one copy, but Voyager was built from the ground up as a web app, which is completely different to Apollo’s “native Apple app” philosophy. So while it may seem at first “changed very little,” it is actually very different. He also isn’t interested in making his own “Apollo for Lemmy” so I think it’s fair to pass the torch down.
I think the UI is still enough to get upset about, even if the structural changes underneath are very different.
Nah, this is LeopardsAteMyFace-worthy content. Christian would have been printing money if he made "the right choice" and kept the baby.
The best part is if he sues, he loses his halo even more and he wins nothing. All is as it should be
Edit: someone wanna repost there c/LeopardsAteMyFace?
He’s moved on and anyway he says PixelPals now makes more money than Apollo did.
I think people are reading too much into a short comment from months ago.
Rule 1, please :)
Will edit
Edit: from what I remember, Pixel Pals is another subscription product so I would humbly suggest the same issues are present although this time, its Christian who holds the keys to the API, so to speak. I simply wouldn't have the confidence to invest any further time or money with his projects when a precedent has been set
