Yes, it was bordering on criminal that nobody had created one on a service called Lemmy - especially when I happened across the server lemmings.world. So I created one! 🙂
I always have problems with the mesh on this level. Quite often a lemming will bash through just one line and then stop, resulting in lemmings wandering off further down the level instead of going through to the exit.
I remember having problems with it, too. And I even don't like this level that much, you pretty much have to brute-force it through the mesh instead of thinking of a clever solution.
I found it quite satisfying when the first bash went all the way through, rather than having to continually click to get the lemmings to cut through it. It is an annoying level though. I think it returns later (as do a few other levels) with different skills available.
I've just noticed the SNES version gives you a score at the end! Is the rescue percentage not enough of a score already? 🤔
Yeah, I think it's more than enough. Like, I don't even know what the points are good for. Sure, cool, I got 10,000 points, but what does that even mean?
Is that just for that level or is it cumulative? Maybe it works it out from the amount of time taken too? It seems a bit surplus to requirements!
I think it's not cumulative, at least I didn't notice. I always have around 10k points. It really feels like a pointless number.
