NonSteamLaunchers is a tool to let you easily install launchers for different game platforms, as well as installing their games properly where they can be launched directly through steam.

  • Legacy Games ✔️
  • Rockstar Games Launcher ✔️

It also supports making web apps for the following:

  • Website Shortcut Creator ✔️
  • Xbox Game Pass ✔️
  • GeForce Now ✔️
  • Amazon Luna ✔️
  • Netflix ✔️
  • Amazon Prime Video ✔️
  • Disney+ ✔️
  • Hulu ✔️

There are better options for some of these game launchers, things like Heroic and Junk store would be better options for Epic for example. However this tool supports a ton of platforms, and is very possibly the easiest way to play games from a lot of these platforms on Deck.

I actually prefer NonSteamLaunchers these days. Heroic is not working very well for me, specially for storefronts other than Epic Games.

Heroic has always been fine for GOG for me, but it just wouldn't load any of my Epic library last time I tried to use it

Mine breaks with Amazon Games frequently. I gave up and I’m using NonSteamLaunchers for that, works awesome.

I didn't know Heroic did Amazon too, I've got Lutris set up for that

Woah this is awesome

Neat. I was put off buying FarCry 4 and Battlefield 3 (because of the additional launchers) does anyone know would this circumvent those?

This won't remove unnecessary launchers from steam games that require them, it just lets you more easily install games that you own on other platforms.

A year or two ago I tried using it for Bnet and Diablo 2 but it had a lot of issues... I'll have to give it another try
