A couple months ago Canadian Deputy PM Freeland was at the top of the shortlist. There are definitely some similarities though. Completely ineffective politics at home, foreign policy ideas perfectly in line with the US State Department, and Nazi family history which we're not supposed to talk about. Given that, either would be perfect for the General Secretary position.
