Do scarecrows actually work against crows? Y'know, crows, the super smart birds which can remember individual human faces and (maybe) describe them to their children? Are they actually scared off by some clothes stuffed with straw?

Just my conjecture but what if it was like uncanny valley but for crows perception of humans? Like imagine seeing a lifelike 3D model of a creature but it was designed by AI. It would creep a lot of people out.

Not really, they'll just perch on them after a while.
