Don't scrap it! If the engine is in driveable condition then you would lose a lot of money scraping it. My advice would be to sell it, maybe try to get the mold of the seatbelts and air up the front tires but otherwise just sell it as is, you could almost certainly get more from a buyer than a scrapper.

Yeah, maybe clean it up somewhat, but personally, I wouldn't put money into it. And someone else can make it better.
Someone else will definitely want it, at least for parts. Peugeot GTis like the 180 have a dedicated following, and it could even be a future classic.
