If something needs to be leaked to the likes of WikiLeaks, this is it.
Only to become appointed AG
Will the info in the investigation ever come out? That could damage his chances of being confirmed as AG?
The ethics committee geneally doesn't release investigations that don't result in action.
They have the ability to but are also exempt from foia requests. Call whoever is closest to the investigation in your house reps and demand it. They've been released them in the past after social pressure.

Gaetz: "Imma dip"
US checks and balances: "well, we tried"
Rename checks and balances to thoughts and prayers.
Nah, it's still checks and balances. Billionaires write checks and Republicans add the money to their balances.
It would be a shame if the Ethic Committee report got leaked somehow. A real shame....
Just amend the report to say 'and then he retired' and send it.
Yeah, people act like politics is governed by some strictly enforced rules that can never be violated. They can kind of just do whatever they want and the worst they'll get is a tsk tsk.
"leaks" are a planned, group effort
You mean "and then he became the US Attorney General."
That has to be a hell of a damning report.
I'm not sure this one will pass congressional approval. I could see it easily going in either direction.
That's why the recess appointments are so important to them. And Thune has already signalled he is happy to bend the knee.
The publication reported that the House Ethics Committee loses jurisdiction over a former member once they leave Congress.
It's not a bug, it's a feature.
"too many absences" heh. Is that what its called these days?
I didn't catch that butt head was gone.
Hey now be fair. He resembles Beavis
Oh he's very much not gone yet...
