I signed up for Lemmy but I didn't really enjoy a lot of the apps out. Now that Sync is here I am 100% here now.
I am really loving sync, and I just got it 2 hours ago. I'm fully ditching reddit
Sync brought me here as well. I guess I just needed a familiar on ramp
I've had Lemmy for months now but never felt like actually posting much because the clients were just not very good. I'll be posting more now that I have Sync, although the prices for premium versions are frankly obscene.
I was using Joey for Reddit and started browsing Lemmi since all of this Reddit API debacle began. Started with Jerboa but things were wonky and I never bothered to sign in. I think I'm going to enjoy Sync...so, hello world!
No I'm here now so it's more active. I just came today so you guys are in for a treat
It's not necessarily more active but its more convenient to browse now.
I thought posting from it wasn't working yet, so I can't see that it would be increasing activity.
I used Sync for reddit, and I've been using Connect for Lemmy. Is Sync for Lemmy better than Connect?

Pretty sure this will bring a ton on new activity. I, for one, feel right at home now.

First good client, but I think it was pretty good before too.
The dev also sent out a push notification to anyone that has the old Sync still installed
Well, it makes it a lot more user friendly again! Was waiting for it.
That's why I'm now here. I was waiting for Sync to be released. I bought the Ultra version to support the dev.
Yep, I'm here because of Sync. I made an account beforehand but now I'm actually using Lemmy.
Also there's Infinity for Reddit.
Anecdotally, it became much more active when Reddit switched the API a month ago. The existence of https://old.lemmy.world/ later also helped probably.
Just wait and watch reddit... Now that 3rd party devs are unleashing stuff... This should take off. Hopefully joey app's lemmy rendition shows up as well! ๐ค๐ป
