I mainly liked tmobile because I'd always get free in-flight wifi with american airlines, but I barely fly anymore. And now with the price increase with my legacy magenta plus plan, I might look elsewhere.

Depending on what you need, I'd very much say to look at T-Mobile prepaid. For example, I'm on the T-Mobile Connect plan, and I only spend $15 per month and get unlimited talk, unlimited text, and five gigabytes of data. And it's perfect for me. Okay, technically after taxes, it's like $17.05, but I always purchase my own device directly from the manufacturer. And so I don't need to buy a phone from them directly.
What greedy fucking assholes... sucks that the SprinT-Mobile merger was allowed to happen. :(
