Tried clicking around to some videos, but got エラーs everywhere. Like you mentioned, probably need a VPN or something. Which is fine, I'm probably not ready for all this anyway, but I'll keep it bookmarked.
How much is this on the up and up? I know you mentioned ad-supported, sure, but is this like a mainstream commercial entity streaming, or is some kind of underground rebroadcast?
it's not any kind of iptv piracy or uploads of torrented dvr rips, etc.
i personally have no particular preference for legal streaming over other types but this happens to be completely legal.
celebrity guests and TV network presenters even mention TVer by name in the actual episodes, when they promote how to find more content.
some of the videos are embedded frames linked to the original tv networks own websites. like in USA and other countries, the tv networks' official sites have streaming episodes for free that become available after a certain delay post-broadcast. TVer just gathers them on 1 site.
unfortunately US doesn't have anything civilized and logical like that for tv (or most things. I'm USAmerican btw)
