World War II bomber Heaven Can Wait was hit by enemy fire off the Pacific island of New Guinea on March 11, 1944. All 11 Soldiers aboard the aircraft were killed. Until recently the location of the downed aircraft was unknown and their bodies were designated as ‘non-recoverable.’ 81 years later after a coordinated effort between one of the men’s relatives and elite diving teams - these men can finally return home.
