Bunraku, easily. I don't even like noire movies normally.
That is a fantastic movie and I encourage anyone who has never seen it to watch it.
Every character and actor fit together so well that a cheesy, weird action movie ended up feeling so much cooler than it deserved to be. It also tapped into my enjoyment of tournament fighting movies from the days of Bloodsport and Kickboxer.
I knew a guy who swore that Garbage Pail Kids The Movie was a goddamned masterpiece of cinema.
I can only watch it in 15 minute stints before the nausea takes effect.
Das Millionenspiel.
It's The Running Man except twelve years earlier and a media satire instead of an action movie. It comments on TV phenomena that wouldn't exist in Germany until two decades later (like scripted "reality" TV). Also, it has early appearances of one of Germany's most famous TV hosts (as the show's host, fittingly) and one of Germany's most famous comedians of the 70s to 90s (in a completely serious role, unfittingly). And unlike the Schwarzenegger movie it doesn't construct a dystopian future to introduce public bloodsports but merely gives a terse reference to a "law on active recreation" dated three years after the movie first aired.
To make it even more odd, it's actually a good movie despite being from Germany and made for TV.
RV with Robin Williams came out at a good age for me, I was like 12 so poop jokes and mean spirited jokes that the movie is full of clicked with me.
I saw a YouTube video about crappy movies and they had Congo on there, I had such a visceral reaction to seeing it on that list. Congo is one of my favourite movies ever, i can recite every line of that movie, from Tim curry to Earnie Hudson to Joey pants, I will die on the hill that Congo is a great movie
Like? Yes, defend? Nahhh
Battlefield Earth
Like many such movies, it's damn awesome if you don't take it seriously. Fuckin hilarious movie.
When YOU were still learning to SPELL YOUR NAME...
Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies. No, not Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, the parody of that film made on the budget of the "plot" portion of a porn flick. I don't know why I like it, but it's some good dumb fun
