What a silly headline. Even many long term NYC residents with good jobs can't afford to live in Manhattan. Why would migrants think that's the city for them?

Because of years of our entertainment and media playing up cities like NYC and LA for a lot of refugees probably only heard of NYC. Not like they know about Tulsa Oklahoma or even smaller towns like Moore Oklahoma.
He's right. There is no room for more people in NYC, regardless of their financial situation. There are thousands of other cities in the USA which would be better destinations for refugees.
Not the richest city, Tokyo has a higher GDP.
But....they are a sanctuary? Thats what they want so they'll have to make room. Why dont all the people that support illegal immigration open **their **doors for these folks? Asking for a guy I once knew.
