Getting through things in chunks. The dishes are washed and the grotty ones are getting a bleach soak. If I can still smell bleach at all after rewashing them though thatโs a tactical yeet.
Iโve got a bag of clothes for the op shop and one for a workwear charity. Iโve put them by the door and moved the unwanted tv there too. (If the built in dvd player doesnโt work itโs no use to me. Sell.)
Someone cancelled tomorrow so thereโs some time to sweep.
My neighbours 3 stories below me has recently had their first baby, and I'm pretty sure tonight's Sydney Road doof doof bars and clubs aren't the most favourite sounds for that babe - I can faintly hear the sounds of a baby crying over the heavy drums from the bar across the road ๐ฌ
I hope they can find a quieter place at some point for their bubs and their own sanity!
Edit: oh wow it's 4am lol incredible least I have no plans

Ugh because of size Iโm being forced to upload videos to OneDrive to email them to the vet (Melbcat crying - feat my messy mid clean house) and it keeps failing to upload. I hate Microsoft and OneDrive. I didnโt get to sort that issue either.
Never get sick and fall behind on things folks. You just do not get out of the weeds.
Iโm going to give it to them on thumb drive if I have to.

(Old issue I didnโt deal with because sidetracked)
Hey I want to install Linux on an old outdated computer so I can use it, but a guide is asking me to verify the iso file and no matter the source I try the numbers donโt match.
This really held up what should be a simple process but I donโt want to install from a file that has potentially been altered.
What do pls?
That's weird - Ive not had that issue but I have to say I am often a bit lazy and don't check. If it's not lining up it suggests the download was corrupted. I guess you have tried the download more then once?
If you tell em which distro I would be happy to go through the steps and download and share what I did in case there's something you are doing wrong (not suggesting there is - I don't know how much of a computer person you are). But I am travelling so can't do it this week because I dont want to be downloading over mobile hotspot.

I know mint offers this on their website, but that's more to make sure you're not installing dodgy malware instead, say if you downloaded the image from a torrent or mirror instead of the actual site.
It's not necessary but recommended. You could always try to install since it's on an old laptop you could wipe again if anything goes wrong.

Sounds like the best place to get it from. I worked at a chemist warehouse for like 2 months and there's a massive markup on fragrances. It's where they got some of their best margin
