pretty much all that's left is to shut down the 'apps' that are still branded 'freevee' and don't require a sign-in or account to use (unlike the prime video app the former imdb and freevee free content will still be available in). that's what i'll miss, a way to watch the few things it had without tying a viewing device to an azn account.

Amazon would also like to note that consolidation doesn't mean we will have a clean, intuitive interface. We know our users prefer confusion and a UI that resembles a high-speed blender full of user options cranked to the max. They also like adds, lots of adds.

No they deliberately bury the options they know we want so we have to go digging for them. Dark patterns and all.

I'm not surprised. YouTube and Twitch seem to be the only ones who cracked free streaming and their content is a lot cheaper to produce.
