I'm pretty sure he said the same during the campaign trail.

To every goddamned idiot who voted for this clown because Kamala wouldn't go rogue as veep, go ahead and imagine her ever in a million years telling Israel to "finish the job".

[–] Saleh@feddit.org 3 points 1 day ago

The difference is that Trump is saying the quiet part out loud.

Biden/Harris never even bothered to push Israel for a ceasefire. When Biden wamted some election optics he demanded Israel to end the blockade in September 2024 and demanded 1000 aid trucks per day. Israel didnt even let in a quarter of that and had their local ISIS affiliated Abu Shabab gang rob the UN trucks. Of course Biden didnt back up any of his threats.

Trump pushed for a ceasefire so his inauguration would look good, which lead to a two month reprise for the people of Gaza, who would otherwise all be murdered with starvation by now.

A lot of his base is furious that Trump now is also doing the bidding of the Zionist lobby, but there is no reason to believe why Biden, who proclaimed himself as a loyal Zionist and Harris who proclaimed to continue his legacy, wouldn't be doing even more to help Israel "finish the job" now. They just dont say it like this in the same way how they didnt talk so loud about their deportation numbers to the liberal voters when they continued Trumps deportation regime.

What are you talking about. Kamala needed to be taught a lesson and boy did we. Take that!
She’s horrible not wanting to…. pour gas… on the fire…

Wait, is that right…

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago

Unlimited weapons and support is absolutely pouring gas on the fire.

Not just them, but couch sitters and Stein voters just the same.

Could've been using their time to raise Harris up and push Trump down. No, they were too busy being accelerationists touting BotH sIdeS bullshit.

Remember that biden/Harris admin negotiated a ceasefire then on day 1 trump called up and gave bibi the greenlight to do whatever needed to be done to destroy hamas. Trump actively encourages isreal so much its gross. I hate how he conducts negotiations by bullying the weaker party into submission instead of trying to us US leverage to create a bridge.

[–] davel@lemmy.ml -2 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

Almost the opposite happened. How did this even get upvoted?

Of course the genocide is bipartisan so the ceasefire was never going to last.

[–] Fizz@lemmy.nz 2 points 14 hours ago (2 children)

Thats insanely naive. Trumps envoy was included for the last few meetings so they would be up to speed for when the next admin took over the process. In typical trump fashion they tried to take credit for it and you're here repeating the trump talking points.

The negotiations were done by the biden Harris team and nothing you linked shows otherwise.

The ceasefire was broken under trump and nothing you linked shows otherwise.

Trumps I/P policy has been completely the opposite of the ceasefire deal so to think his envoy had any impact on that deal is actually braindead.

Its always the .ml spreading trump propaganda and false info. You are a bad faith actor undermining democracy.

[–] geneva_convenience@lemmy.ml -1 points 1 day ago

Democrats just falsifying history now.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 day ago

Remember that literally, factually never happened. You are rewriting history to defend the Democrats complicity in genocide. You are a genocide denier

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 day ago

Easy to do, given that that was her position. At least under Trump, the Democrat loyalists are acknowledging the scope of the genocide. If Harris had won, they'd still be pretending it wasn't happening and shouting at anyone bringing it up

[–] devolution@lemmy.world -3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

This. Leftists, remember. You did this.

[–] BrainInABox@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 day ago

Another reminder that liberals will always side with fascists against leftists.

[–] xyzzy@lemmy.today 28 points 2 days ago (1 children)

They're busy enacting their final solution to the Gaza problem, so just wait a few more months and world governments can sigh a breath of relief that they don't have to pretend to care anymore when the last Palestinian in Gaza has starved to death or been shot

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 5 points 2 days ago

Remembering will be made illegal in the US, punishable by a one way trip to El Salvador.

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 15 points 2 days ago

Uh.. so how's that whole Gaza genocide thing going, guys?

..guys?
