I haven't actually listened to much music this last week, I was super busy, out and about for most of the week. I had recently dropped Spotify, and bought an MP3 player with Bluetooth to connect to my car to listen to music while driving, but for whatever reason I can't get the damn thing to connect. It connects fine to my bluetooth speaker and headphones... So my commutes have been eerily quiet this week. Also I had a 3 hour drive Friday and yesterday, which was also sorely silent.

I did a bunch of driving with my dad up in the mountains this weekend in his truck (we went camping), and he still listens to the same classic rock radio station he did when I was a kid, and they are still somehow playing all the same music on repeat, so I got a little bit of "insanely popular classic rock" nostalgia that I don't normally hear.

I listened to So Long & Thanks For All The Shoes by NOFX again. Such a good punk rock album. 28 years old. Don't know if it's an old classic yet.

Ooh I really like this, definitely adding it to a playlist somewhere.

Is there really only 1 album and 6 tracks with a couple singles in between? Darn, classic "I WANT MORE!" but can't have any haha.

Ha, I don't know. I just clicked on a post that was on Lemmy/Fediverse.

Been listening to Kwiat Jabłoni a lot again lately - I love their music, though they only sing in Polish so not sure anyone here cares haha

I listen to a bunch of Norwegian folk rock and don't know even a single word of Norwegian, so there are definitely people out there that don't exclusively listen in their native tongue.

I had a little kick for a while where I was listening to a lot of Daði Freyr, including a lot of his earlier non-English stuff, and I definitely don't know any Icelandic.
