Thanks for sharing. That was really interesting. I really liked the restaurant menu analogy. When I first explored PF2, I was put off by the vancian casting, but it's really interesting to hear about how actually, PF2 has a much more varied approach with all these other classes (some of which didn't exist at the time).
The explanation in this video of the Animist actually sounds quite a lot like the D&D 5e warlock, which has long been what I've said is the biggest thing missing in Pathfinder. I doubt the Animist is truly going to scratch that same itch, but I'm going to look through the Animist out of interest regardless.
I was a little disappointed that this video didn't actually discuss the strict vancianism which I expected it to based on the title. But I look forward to watching his next video, since he said that will cover it.
