China could do better to remove any pollution regulatory argument that keeps it out of NATO colony markets, and still be 1/10th the cost of Caterpillar.

Battery electric with flexible generator (H2 or Diesel) for recharging in use (ie Hybrid) would be far less emissions when plugged in for full battery at start of day.

Mining projects all have massive amount of room for solar and Green H2 production, that can make the land valuable settlement (or datacenter) location after the mine is depleted. Electrification is low hanging fruit.
