Very hope insurance companies check these details after any incident to refuse payment.
Very much hope countries with free healthcare and law force to use seatbelts could refuse treatment such brave persons.

lol what? Well how much danger am I allowed to put myself in before doctors get to tell me to eat shit when I turn up at the E.R.?? If I break my collarbone playing backyard football should insurance companies refuse payment because I wasn't wearing shoulder pads?
Im not a physicist or a doctor but I dont think you want a rounded metal plate loosely hanging out nearby when you get into a crash.
The small light item that's clicked into a mechanism that's designed to hold back the entire bodyweight of the largest human that'll fit into the seat in the event of a crash? You should probably be more worried about going through the windscreen head first.
What some fail to remember is at least if you're buckled, even if you crash you have a chance to hit the brakes. If you get catapulted off your seat, there's none of that, and you can cause more crashes.
I would only use this for the passenger seat when I put heavy things in it for transport. Usually just buckle behind the item though.
