"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

I don’t know what sort of reputation (if any) the Pew Research Center has amongst leftists, and I have mixed feelings about it myself.

I mean, on one hand it’s an American think tank based in Washington D.C. (obvious red flag)

…but the other hand, Pew Research Center = PRC (☭🇨🇳BASED🇨🇳☭)

Shitty jokes aside, this article is relevant and worth reading, imho. Seems to be written pretty objectively and is surprisingly devoid of any obvious imperialist bullshit, as far as I can tell.

I feel like we need a way to streamline this text. How do we make a modern Little Red Book out of it?

People are deeply unhappy with their political and economic systems, but they haven't read "What Is To Be Done?"
