It’s infected with Denuvo malware so I’ll pass.

The demo or the full game?

Good question; didn't even occur to me this might be a thing, but a quick search confirms that previous demo releases have had Denuvo.

Still waiting on Hogwarts Legacy to drop Denuvo. I've almost bought it three times, when it's been on sale, only to cancel when I did the Denuvo check. It's been cracked for 2½ years, since 12 days after release. Why the hell is it still included!?

WB seems to have a lifetime contract for denuvo, all their games seem to keep it indefinitely.

Oh, shoot. That sucks. I was going to get Hogwarts Legacy for my kiddos.

Thankfully, the pirated version doesn't have Denuvo, so I guess there's an alternative, but it's so much easier to just buy it on Steam than pirate it, lol.

Honestly you aren't missing much, the game gets old once the story really starts. The exploration of the castle is fun, but the surrounding area and combat are lackluster.

Whenever a racing game comes out and they put sonic in a vehicle, I wish they'd note it in the lore itself

It's gotta be a case of "sonic we are putting you in this car to make this race fair" which I'd find hilarious if they acknowledge it out loud.

IE have him say something like "don't make me get out of this car" or whatever as a threat, or, "I'd have won if I wasn't in this hunk of junk" or etc

The entire concept of Sonic in a car is hilarious to me, because while everyone else is going fast, he's just like "oh my goooood why is this thing so slooooww"

The Sonic "All-Stars Racing" games were actually really good, but then Team Sonic Racing was a disappointment. I feel like that this one is going to try to pick up fans with licensed characters instead of solid gameplay, but maybe I'm wrong. Actually, the existence of a demo at all is encouraging.

I'm not going to buy it since I want to get through more of my backlog and stop buying new games, but I'll check out this demo.

Exactly, yeah, worth checking the demo in the hopes this is more like All-Stars. Fingers crossed

Interestingly this instalment is made by Sonic Team, when the previous racing ones were made by Sumo Digital.
