So Larry Ellison will control TikTok and David Ellison controls Paramount (which owns CBS). William Randolph Hearst would have been impressed.

Im genuinely shocked TikTok sold, I am also deeply disapointed that bytedance caved.

Also how did this get approved by the PRC, dont they have a law aganst exporting the algorithm?

My understanding is that this is just the operation in US, not TikTok globally.
