Without close inspection, certainly looks like king bolete
Thank you both for the info! Here is another photo of a mushroom near the others that looks to me to be the same species. I did not knock it over, it was already like that. I’m too worried to forage for mushrooms but I think they’re beautiful.
Nice, yeah for sure better to be safe. "You can eat any mushroom...once"
