I hope they look at possibly running a line from Victoria Cross connecting to Parramatta. Could send it north to Lane cove to give them access to the metro network before going west to place stations through the Ryde region with an interchange at West Ryde. (Though my dream is that the line would start at Chatswood and swing around east before getting to Victoria Cross to finally link the northern beaches in.)

More rail is always a good thing and Timeout decide to base their article around whinging about how to fund it. My biggest fear is the LNP ~~selling it to their friends~~ privatising it the first opportunity they get.
